Hi there 👋🏻
In 2014, I founded Letter To Angel, an organization that uses handwritten letters to support people with mental issues. This gave me an insight into the importance of human connection in fostering mental health by showing me how just a simple letter can pull people out of loneliness or even stop someone from suicide.
Since then, I have always been drawn to deepening my understanding of psychology and human connection nuances. This was what brought me to the university I am currently in – Minerva Schools at KGI, a university with a global rotation program that had brought me to 8 countries during my four years there. This experience had given me a global lens in looking at problems as well as the opportunities to branch out into different roles around the world, from working as a business developer to an ecosystem strategist to a psychology researcher.
Since I have always been a tech-enthusiast, these roles allowed me to explore my interest in the tech industry. However, I have always felt that something was missing. Technology is not as human-centric as it should be, and this realization brought me back to all those years ago when I wrote those letters to strangers I had never met. It made me realized that while technology can connect us from impossible distances or even save lives, it can never replace that human connection.
Thus, I see it as my life’s work to humanize technology – to help companies design technology that aligns with human behavior and take mental health into account.
I’m currently pursuing my life’s work by combining my global lens, multidisciplinary experiences, and insight into human behavior to help any company that shares the same mission make thoughtful decisions.
If you or your company is passionate about this similar mission, I am always open to coffee-chats and collaborations! I am best reached via email. 💌
